My daughter is 18 & one amazing child. Yes to me she is still a child no mater if at 18 she can now do anything she wants with only her own permission.
She was born into challenges as I was 15 when I had her & her father was only 17 years old. Everyone did the best they could with her at different stages in her life. Even with having to put up with having young parents she turned out awesome. Yes awesome..... Maybe that is not a typical way a Mom describes her daughter but awesome is the way I see her.
She is in college, career focused, but still enjoys life. I can't help but just look at her & smile. You know that proud smile that this beautiful being you used to carry around & nurse is now fending for herself in the big world.

Let us start at the beginning
Is there something about blogging that just gets things off our chests? Is it that you don't want to bother family & friends with anything that you have to vent, so doing so in cyber world seems so much easier? Either way this is just my ramblings... Probably about my son or my daughter, guaranteed there is gonna be food since I love to cook & try it, & the rest will probably be a roller coaster of emotions with this new life path I have been set to walk.
